Our Meeting

"For waging war you need guidance, and for victory many advisers."
- Proverbs 24:6

The most rewarding work involving the Christian Executive Forum takes place within the confines of our monthly meeting. The forum is not just a business meeting. It is a vehicle for changing member lives and improving member businesses. This happens when members engage each other in frank and intimate conversations about the real issues involved in being a Christian in a place of corporate leadership. Moderated by CEF Founder Max Ellzey, the monthly meeting agenda is a compelling pursuit and discovery of what God desires to accomplish through that business.

The benefits of establishing intimate, mutually beneficial and supportive relationships with other Christian business owners and CEOs are many. However, the inherent benefit of CEF is the group itself. Where else can a Christian business owner or CEO turn for guidance, encouragement and yes, accountability in running that business and dealing with the pressing issues of leadership? Scripture encourages us to ensure that our interactions out to be such that we all grow in grace, strength and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Proverbs 27:17 reads:

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

None of us have identical experiences in life, and God has allowed this for a specific reason. When business owners gather together, the wealth of wisdom and learning that becomes available from each member sharing his or her life experiences is priceless.
